Manila, Feb. 4 -- The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) said Wednesday it is set to launch a comprehensive functional review on the agency's operations in partnership with the World Bank to ensure quality assurance.

In a statement, CHED Chairperson Shirley Agrupis said it is important to align "staff competencies with their respective roles to uphold efficient and effective public service."

Under the comprehensive review, the CHED and the World Bank will analyze current staffing qualifications and map critical workflows to improve quality assurance.

It will also address the potential overlapping functions between the CHED and other agencies.
