MANILA, April 29 -- Senator Sherwin Gatchalian said filing of human trafficking charges against more personalities tied to Philippine offshore gaming operators (POGOs) is a clear affirmation of the government's commitment to justice and accountability.

In a statement Tuesday, the senator welcomed this development and warned that those who abuse their power or violate the law will be held to account, regardless of their status or influence.

"Let this serve as a warning to all," he said.

"We will continue monitoring these cases closely and will not stop until all those responsible are made to answer before the law."
