Manila, June 19 -- The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) has signed a partnership with the Philippine Stock Exchange, Inc. (PSE) to promote investment literacy and encourage overseas Filipinos to participate in the local stock market.

In a news release on Wednesday, CFO Secretary Dante "Klink" Ang II said the two agencies will jointly undertake programs aimed at empowering overseas Filipinos to become active participants in the Philippine capital markets.

The collaboration was formalized through the signing of a memorandum of understanding on Tuesday, which coincides with the CFO's 45th anniversary.
