Manila, June 12 -- To nurture Filipino artistic talent and preserve the nation's cultural heritage, the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) on Wednesday honored the winners of its 20th National Art Competition.

In his keynote address, GSIS president and general manager Jose Arnulfo Veloso underscored the vital role of art in society, especially in fostering national pride and inspiring positive change.
