Manila, July 31 -- Gokongwei-led airline Cebu Pacific (CEB) won a bronze award in the Diversity and Inclusion category of the 2025 Economic Times Human Capital Awards (ETHCA), making it the lone Southeast Asian carrier to be among the awardees.

The ceremony was held last July 25 in Singapore, CEB said on Thursday.

"Diversity and inclusion are fundamental to how we lead and grow. This accolade reinforces our belief that empowering our people enhances the way we serve our passengers and communities," CEB chief human resources officer Felix Lopez said in a statement.

Over the years, CEB has introduced progressive policies and practices locally.
