Manila, Sept. 5 -- Low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) and De La Salle University (DLSU) - Manila recently inked a five-year collaboration to train future aviation engineers, the airline announced on Friday.
Twenty-five DLSU engineering students were chosen for the for the pilot run of the Design Engineering Program.
"This partnership invests in more than projects -- it invests in people. By guiding young engineers to innovate with purpose, we are building the future of Philippine aviation together," Shevantha Weerasekera, CEB vice president for Engineering and Fleet Management, said in a news release.
