Manila, Feb. 17 -- Former Supreme Court chief justice Hilario Davide Jr. and "Asia's Queen of Songs" and actress Pilita Corrales will be among the Cebuano personalities who will be honored during this city's 88th Charter Day celebration on Feb. 24.

The local government launched on Monday the Charter Day Art Exhibit, dubbed "Kita, Ang Katawhan: Mga Magtutukod sa Dakbayan" (We, the People Who Founded Our City), featuring personalities who will be honored during the celebration.

The other personalities in the list include the late philanthropist Jon Ramon Aboitiz; the late Supreme Court chief justice Marcelo Fernan; legislator, publisher and writer Vicente Rama, the father of the city's charter; and the late president Sergio Osmena Sr.
