Manila, Jan. 4 -- A bettor from Cebu province won the PHP288.6-million jackpot in Saturday night's Grand Lotto 6/55 draw.

The winning ticket, purchased at an outlet in Compostela town, matched the combination 13-42-06-45-24-33 for the total jackpot prize of PHP288,616,075.00.

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said Sunday that it was the second time this month that a lone bettor won a jackpot, following a PHP14.4-million Megalotto 6/45 win by a bettor from Sorsogon City on Friday night.

Aside from the jackpot winner, 47 bettors hit five of the six winning numbers and will receive PHP100,000 each. Meanwhile, 2,330 players won PHP1,500 for four correct digits, and 30,049 bettors will get PHP60 each for three correct numbers...
