Manila, June 9 -- The Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) on Monday voiced its opposition to the proposed removal of Ethics from the college curriculum.
In a statement, CEAP said Ethics is an essential aspect in allowing an individual, especially young adults, to develop good moral thinking.
"While basic education may introduce ethical principles, the complexity of moral dilemmas that students face in adulthood, particularly in professional and societal contexts, requires a deeper, more critical engagement with ethical frameworks," it said.
