Manila, June 2 -- The local government is set to enhance public service efficiency at City Hall and expand its reach to communities, according to Mayor Rolando Uy.

During the resumption of work on Monday, Uy announced that employees and consultants under contractual or job order status will be terminated by the last day of June, subject to review and evaluation.

Regular employees and officials may be transferred to other offices or relocated to other stations within the city to maximize their performance and the effective execution of programs under his administration.
