Manila, Jan. 5 -- Cases have been filed against individuals who figured in three indiscriminate firing incidents in Western Visayas during the holiday season.

"Three cases of indiscriminate firing were noted, and appropriate complaints have been filed against those responsible," Police Regional Office 6 (Western Visayas) Director Brig. Gen. Josefino Ligan said during the regular flag-raising ceremony at the regional headquarters in Iloilo City.

The incidents involved a police officer in Estancia and two civilians in Pavia and Sta. Barbara, all were arrested.
