BUTUAN CITY, Nov. 2 -- Local government units (LGUs) in the Caraga Region are bracing for the possible impacts of Tropical Storm (TS) Tino, which is expected to begin affecting the area on Monday.
As of 11 a.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) placed the province of Dinagat Islands, along with Siargao Island and Bucas Grande Islands in Surigao del Norte, under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1.
