Manila, July 15 -- The local government unit of Lal-lo, a coastal municipality in Cagayan, has imposed a temporary ban on liquor effective Thursday, pursuant to Municipal Ordinance (MO) No. 31 as it prepares for the Tropical Depression Crising. MO 31 prohibits selling, distributing, and consuming liquor and other intoxicating beverages in the municipality before, during, and after a tropical storm and other forms of calamities. In a live press conference held at the Maxingal Evacuation Center, Lal-lo vice mayor Maria Olivia Pascual reminded the public to prepare as Crising is moving northwestward, traversing the northern portion of Northern Luzon.
