MANILA, Dec. 2 -- Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) chief Patricia Yvonne "PY" Caunan flew to Hong Kong Tuesday morning to personally check on overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) affected by the deadly blaze at the Wang Fuk Court apartment complex in Tai Po.

In an interview with Undersecretary Dominique Rubia-Tutay during the kickoff of Philippines-Finland Friendship Day in Mandaluyong City, she said Cacdac will personally check on OFW Rhodora Alcaraz, who is undergoing treatment at a hospital for her injuries.
