Manila, Feb. 17 -- Migrant Workers Secretary Has Leo Cacdac has tagged President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. as the "Father of OFWs" for his steadfast commitment to their welfare and protection, and his unwavering support to the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).

In a Bagong Pilipinas interview on Monday, he said that 2024 had been a banner year for the DMW in terms of services provided to the OFWs, even if the department had only been in its second year of existence.
