Manila, Feb. 20 -- The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said Friday normal and uninterrupted operations continue at the Puerto Princesa International Airport despite the untimely passing of the airport's acting manager, Joanna Jonson-Infante.

CAAP Director General Raul Del Rosario visited the airport on Thursday and affirmed that flight schedules, safety procedures, and all essential airport services continue without disruption.

According to reports, Infante was shot in the back along Bayview Road in Barangay San Pedro, Puerto Princesa City, on Wednesday. She was brought to a hospital but later succumbed to gunshot wounds.
