Manila, Feb. 2 -- The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has given the regulatory approval to a maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility in Malaysia, giving manufacturer ATR aircraft operators the option to avail of their MRO needs within the region.

CAAP spokesperson Eric Apolonio confirmed that an Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) certification was given to Aircraft Propeller Services (APS), a facility that provides services for Collins Aerospace 568F propeller systems used on ATR aircraft.
