Manila, April 16 -- The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) on Wednesday said it has signed an agreement with the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) for the operation and maintenance of Clark International Airport's (CRK) Communications, Navigation, and Surveillance/Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) facilities.

The memorandum of agreement was signed on Tuesday.

CAAP will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the CNS/ATM facilities, ensuring safe and efficient management of air traffic in and out of CRK.

The CNS/ATM enables aircraft to transmit accurate locations for takeoffs, landings, and air traffic control.
