Manila, May 6 -- Bureau of Corrections (Bucor) Director General Gregorio Pio Catapang Jr. met with Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI) Director Glenn Panganiban on Tuesday to come up with a plan of action to support the Marcos administration's food security program.
In a news release, the BuCor said the two officials discussed possible collaboration towards enhancing the agency's food production by converting idle penal lands into productive agricultural spaces and on how to best engage incarcerated individuals in meaningful work.
