Manila, Sept. 4 -- Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Eli Remolona, Jr. has been recognized anew as one of the world's best central bank governors for the second consecutive year, receiving an "A-" rating in the Global Finance magazine's prestigious Central Banker Report Cards 2025.

In a statement Thursday, the BSP said the prestigious report card evaluates central bankers from nearly 100 countries, grading them between between A+, the highest, and F, the lowest.

The ratings are based on inflation control, economic growth, currency stability, interest rate management, and independence.
