MANILA, Nov. 24 -- Essential upgrades at Bohol-Panglao International Airport (BPIA) and Laguindingan International Airport (LIA) in Northern Mindanao have been completed, operator Aboitiz InfraCapital, Inc. (AIC) announced.
AIC, which has been managing the two airports since April (LIA) and June (BPIA), made repairs on elevators to ensure easier access for passengers, especially senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and those traveling with children.
"These improvements are important infrastructure upkeep that reflect our shared commitment with the government to make every AIC airport experience safer, more efficient and more enjoyable for our travelers," AIC chief executive officer Cosette Canilao said in a statement on Monday.
