MANILA, Nov. 19 -- The Bureau of Customs (BOC) will hold a public auction of forfeited luxury vehicles linked to the Discayas on Thursday.

In a social media announcement, the BOC said the auction will start at 10 a.m. at the BOC Situation Room, Ground Floor, Office of the Commissioner (OCOM) Building, Port Area, Manila.

Proceeds from the sale will be remitted to the National Treasury.

"Funds raised from this auction shall be remitted to the National Treasury, ensuring that public assets are restored and redirected to support national development,'" the BOC said.

"This initiative underscores the BOC's commitment to enforcing regulations, promoting transparency, and safeguarding the country's economic interests."
