Manila, Oct. 28 -- The Bureau of Customs (BOC) denied on Tuesday false and misleading information circulating online that alleged a Rolls-Royce vehicle seized from the Discaya couple was being driven around Metro Manila.

In a statement, the bureau noted that the said vehicle, along with other luxury cars confiscated from contractors Pacifico "Curlee" Discaya II and Cezarah Rowena "Sarah" Discaya -- who are linked to the anomalies involving flood control projects -- remains under its custody.

"All seized vehicles are securely stored under the strict supervision of the Customs Police, safeguarded by physical barriers, security personnel, and inventory controls that prevent any unauthorized access, movement, or release," it said.
