Manila, Sept. 3 -- Bureau of Customs Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno on Wednesday met with the Department of Justice (DOJ) Wednesday to craft a plan of action in running after and prosecuting agricultural smugglers.

"Gusto natin palakasin 'yung pagtutulungan ng Department of Justice at ng BOC upang sa lahat ng kaso na isasampa natin laban sa mga smugglers ay magiging matibay (We want to strengthen the cooperation between the DOJ and the BOC to ensure that all cases filed against smugglers are strong)," Nepomuceno told reporters after his meeting with Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla.
