Manila, July 11 -- Anti-drug operatives in Bicol seized PHP1.3 million worth of suspected illegal drugs during a buy-bust operation in Libon, Albay on Friday.

Police Regional Office-5 Director Brig. Gen. Andre Dizon said a suspect known as "Ben," 37, was apprehended after selling a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover buyer.

A further search led to the recovery of 200 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of PHP1,360,000.

The operation was conducted by the Libon Municipal Police Station, the Provincial Intelligence Unit of the Albay Police Provincial Office, and the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 5.
