Manila, May 19 -- The Police Regional Office in Bicol (PRO-5) has reported a decrease in illegal drug confiscations and arrests during a weeklong operation compared to the previous period.
In a report released on Monday, PRO-5 Brig. Gen. Andre Dizon said Bicol police arrested 17 individuals from May 12 to 18, down from 21 arrests made the previous week.
Among those arrested were two high-value targets (HVTs) and 15 street-level individuals (SLIs).
The police also confiscated illegal drugs valued at PHP1.54 million, a decline from PHP2.6 million seized from May 5 to 11.
