Manila, Jan. 5 -- The Police Regional Office in Bicol (PRO-5) honored 10 police officers for exemplary service and outstanding efforts in strengthening police-community relations.

The recognition was conferred during the celebration of the 32nd Philippine National Police (PNP) Ethics Day at the PRO-5 Grandstand in Camp BGen Simeon A. Ola, this city.

PRO-5 acting Regional Director Brig. Gen. Erosito Miranda said the award highlighted the PNP's commitment to integrity, discipline, and excellence as the cornerstone of a responsive and people-centered police force.

He said the awardees demonstrated the unit's dual mission of maintaining peace and order while ensuring the welfare and safety of the communities they serve.
