Manila, Dec. 28 -- The bicameral conference committee convened to reconcile conflicting votes on House Bill (HB) 4058, or the General Appropriations Bill (GAB), formally completed its task with the signing of the Committee Report on Sunday afternoon.

The reconciled, enrolled bill earmarks PHP6.7 trillion for government operations for 2026.

House Appropriations Committee Chairperson and Nueva Ecija Rep. Mikaela Suansing, who led the House contingent to the event, said the signing of the report "marks the culmination of the conference committee deliberations and reflects the shared commitment of both houses for a responsive and accountable national budget."
