MANILA, Dec. 4 -- The Bureau of Immigration (BI) will initiate a deportation case against Cao Cheng, the alleged importer of contractor couple Pacifico "Curlee" and Cezarah Rowena "Sarah" Discaya's luxury vehicles.

According to Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado, they received information from the Land Transportation Office (LTO) chief, Assistant Secretary Markus Lacanilao, that Cao was arrested for several violations, including obstruction of apprehension and prosecution of criminal offender, illegal use of an alias, false representation, and willful misrepresentation of material information on Nov. 27 in Makati.

He was detained at the Special Operations Division, Highway Patrol Group, in Camp Crame, Quezon City.
