Manila, July 14 -- Authorities headed by the Bureau of Immigration (BI) arrested a Chinese woman believed to be misrepresenting herself as a Filipino, similar to the case of former Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo, also known as Guo Hua Ping.

Arrested on Sunday at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 was Wang Xiujun, 43, who is said to have been using the alias Cassia Palma Poliquit, the BI said in a news release on Monday.

Immigration Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado ordered the monitoring of Wang's travels and her arrest after the bureau received information from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) regarding her suspicious identity.
