Manila, April 14 -- The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has 48 additional frontliners at the country's main international gateway amid an expected surge in passengers during the peak season.
In a statement on Monday, Immigration Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado noted these personnel, composed of immigration officers and acting immigration officers, have been deployed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) terminals as the number of travelers may reach 50,000 daily.
