SAN JOSE DE BUENAVISTA, Dec. 3 -- The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Antique is eyeing zero Christmas-related fire incidents.

Senior Fire Officer I Jefferson Cordero said in an interview on Wednesday that they have already intensified their fire prevention campaign, starting Dec. 1, to remind the public of the safety tips.

"For the last three years, there were no Christmas-related fire incidents in the province, and we want to maintain it," Cordero said.

He said that their firetrucks, bearing a tarpaulin printed with fire safety tips, visit the barangays daily as part of their information and education campaign.
