MANILA, Nov. 16 -- Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin denied Sunday that he is set to resign or be replaced.
"Not true until it actually happens. I don't know how the speculation started," Bersamin told reporters when asked about circulating talks on a supposed shake-up in Malacanang.
The Executive Secretary, who heads the day-to-day operations of the Office of the President, has been a subject of resignation talks since issues on illegal infrastructure and flood-control projects surfaced.
Bersamin stressed he remains focused on his duties.
Malacanang has not issued any official statement on the matter.
