MANILA, Oct. 17 -- Bells at the Cathedral Shrine and Parish of the Good Shepherd in Quezon City will ring on Friday evening.
Religious and civil society organizations will hold their weekly White Friday Protest against massive corruption involving infrastructure projects, which began last week.
In a social media post, the Novaliches Cathedral asked the Catholic faithful to participate in the activity dubbed "Kalembang Kontra Korapsyon" of the Trillion Peso March Movement, starting 6 p.m. on Oct. 17.
"Come join us in fighting corruption and graft. Let's follow God's will and fight corruption!" the church said in its post.
