Manila, Dec. 22 -- The City Treasurer's Office here has reminded property owners to avail of the 20-percent early payment discount for real property tax for 2026.

In a public advisory posted on social media, the office announced that the last day to avail of the discount will be on Dec. 29.

"In connection with Memorandum Circular No. 111 on the suspension of work in government offices on Dec. 29, 2025, the Office of the City Treasurer will remain open," the office said.

Early taxpayers are reminded to bring the latest tax receipt and proceed to the Assessor's Office for validation prior to making payment at the Office of the City Treasurer.
