LAOAG CITY, Dec. 15 -- Some 300 delegates are set to flock to the Ilocandia Cultural Center in Batac City this week to attend a summit aimed at showcasing local talents and promoting cultural ingenuity.
Spearheaded by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), the summit, dubbed "Parnuay: The 3rd Creativity in Philippine Higher Education Summit," will be held from Tuesday to Thursday.
The summit adopts a word from the host region's language. For this year, the Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU), which is one of the organizers, picked "parnuay," an Ilocano word that means creating, inventing, or bringing something into existence.
