Manila, July 18 -- Solar panels and satellite internet have been installed at the Biaan Aeta Integrated School (BAIS) in Mariveles, Bataan as part of Aboitiz Foundation's Aurora PH program.
The program, launched in 2024, aims to aid last-mile schools in empowering learners and educators. It has so far benefited more than 2,500 learners and educators in far-flung areas around the country.
The units were installed with the help of AboitizPower's GNPower Mariveles Energy Center (GMEC) and GNPower Dinginin (GNPD), and in coordination with the Department of Education (DepEd).
