Manila, June 16 -- Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) Interim Chief Minister Abdulraof Macacua on Monday called on all elected officials under the United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP) to prioritize the people, reminding them that "faith and accountability are the core hallmarks of leadership."

UBJP, the political party of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), secured most of the elected positions in Maguindanao del Sur and Maguindanao del Norte in last month's local elections.

During a mass oath-taking ceremony at the BARMM government center here, Macacua reminded the newly elected officials of the essence of true leadership within the framework of moral governance in the region.
