CALAMBA CITY, Nov. 27 -- The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region and the province of Laguna agreed Thursday to collaborate on tourism development through knowledge sharing and technical exchanges.
BARMM tourism officials visited Laguna for a benchmarking tour focused on tourism circuit development and best practices.
"Laguna is a historic province with a rich cultural heritage. It is important for us to understand its governance framework and how the private sector contributes to tourism development," said BARMM Deputy Director Marites Maguindra.
Gov. Sol Aragones, in a virtual message, welcomed the partnership and emphasized the value of interregional learning for enhancing tourism circuits and cultural promotion.
