Manila, Oct. 11 -- The Commission on Elections (Comelec) - Baguio is seeking to establish 20 additional polling centers to help decongest existing voting areas amid the growing number of registered voters in the city.

Baguio Election Officer, lawyer John Paul Martin, said Friday the move would provide voters with a more comfortable voting experience.

"We want voters to have a better voting experience, along with a smoother and more efficient process like what we saw during the May 2025 midterm elections," Martin said in a phone interview.
