Manila, April 1 -- Philippine Navy (PN) flag-officer-in-command, Rear Admiral Giovanni Carlo Bacordo, said he and the government have the backs of personnel serving as front-liners in the battle against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) outbreak in the country.
"The government and your Philippine Navy will take care of you, just do your duty diligently (and) always follow the rules and directives from the Inter-Agency Task Force," Bacordo said while visiting Navy personnel manning checkpoints in San Juan City, Cainta in Rizal and the Marikina Sports Complex on Tuesday.
