Manila, March 4 -- The city government here is set to turn over more housing units under the Pambansang Pabahay Para Sa Pilipino (4PH) Program by the end of March after handing over the keys to an initial 46 buyer-beneficiaries last January.

Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez said on Tuesday they are targeting a monthly takeout of units at the Asenso Yuhum Residences in Barangay Vista Alegre, although he did not specify the exact number of housing units to be turned over next.

"We're one of the first local government units to implement the 4PH. We already have takeouts in our first building. The challenge now is how to accelerate the production of other 4PH units and at the same time, the turn-over to the beneficiaries," he said in an inter...
