Manila, Sept. 3 -- The Surigao del Norte Police Provincial Office (SDNPPO) reported the arrest of 187 individuals during its 162 law enforcement operations in August this year.

The arrests include 30 wanted persons, 32 drug suspects, 94 illegal fishing violators, 19 illegal gamblers, eight illegal loggers, two for firearms, and two for violating Republic Act 10643, or the Graphic Health Warnings Law.

Of the arrested wanted persons, four were considered most wanted at the regional and municipal levels, while 26 were identified as other wanted persons.

The illegal drugs campaign during the period also netted 128.758 grams of shabu and 1.4 grams of marijuana with a total street market value of PHP875,721.72.
