Manila, May 6 -- A total of 130 postmasters have undergone training from the Indian government for the enhancement of operational efficiency and leadership capabilities in the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost).
In a news release on Tuesday, PHLPost Postmaster General Luis Carlos said the three-day External Capacity Building Program Training Seminar was conducted in late April by India's Department of Posts and the Asian-Pacific Postal Union (APPU), which provides development assistance to member-countries through its foreign aid program.
APPU's development assistance includes training program funds, infrastructure development, and other initiatives for the improvement of postal services.
