Manila, Jan. 27 -- The Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) on Monday said it is intensifying efforts to streamline public services and eliminate red tape through digitalization.

In its 2024 performance report over PTV-4's Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon on Monday, ARTA Director General Ernesto Perez said the agency's primary focus is implementing Executive Order 32, which streamlines the processes for the construction of telecommunications and Internet infrastructure.

Perez reported that the EO 32 signed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos on July 5, 2023 has significantly reduced the time required for telecommunication companies to energize towers from 255 to 300 days to just 59 days.
