Manila, May 2 -- The Philippine Army's Carlos De Imus dominated the men's 10,000-meter race walk Friday in the ICTSI Philippine Athletics Championships at the New Clark City Athletic Stadium here.

He clocked 46 minutes and 11.11 seconds to prevail over University of Santo Tomas' (UST) Vincent Vianmar Dela Cruz (50:17.84) and National University's John Aaron Aranda (51:51.65).

"I'm satisfied with my performance but I still have high expectations for myself," De Imus said even after improving on the 48:21.93 he registered when the tournament was held at PhilSports Arena in Pasig City last year.
