Manila, Jan. 16 -- The Philippine Army (PA) on Friday honored six of its military and civilian personnel who successfully hurdled the September 2025 Bar Examinations.

In a ceremony at Fort Bonifacio in Taguig City, PA chief Lt. Gen. Antonio Nafarrete said the passing of their six personnel highlights the "institution's commitment to intellectual rigor and legal competence alongside military professionalism."

He also highlighted the role of lawyer-soldiers in ensuring that military operations remain firmly grounded in the rule of law.

Feted were Lt. Col. Leonidas Buriel, Lt. Col. Lenell Abing Lacson, Maj. John Paul Belleza, Maj. Allen Mark Tacorda, Cpl. Michelle Lania, and Samantha Louise Guevara, a civilian employee of the PA.
