Manila, May 13 -- The apparent election victory of at least six senatorial candidates of the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas shows public support for the Marcos administration's vision for a New Philippines where progress thrives, the coalition's campaign manager said on Tuesday.
Alyansa's campaign manager, Navotas Rep. Toby Tiangco, said Filipinos' vote for the administration-backed Senate slate affirms the alliance's shared commitment to continue the country's economic gains and preserve the momentum of growth.
"We view this as a clear signal to move forward with greater urgency and focus, guided by the aspirations of our people and committed to addressing the issues that concern them the most," Tiangco said.
