Manila, Feb. 5 -- Local government units (LGUs) in Antique will be adopting delegations for the upcoming Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association (WVRAA) Meet as part of their support for the province's hosting of the sports event.

Dr. Evelyn Remo, Chief Education Supervisor of the Department of Education (DepEd) Schools Division of Antique, said in an interview Wednesday that during a Feb. 4 meeting with the provincial government, LGUs, and other stakeholders, they requested LGUs to adopt delegations.

"Three LGUs will be hosting a delegation by holding a welcome party and providing assistance," she said.
