Manila, March 11 -- The 39 aspirants for various local posts in this province are expected to join the covenant signing set on March 14 to commit to a fair and peaceful 2025 elections.

Commission on Elections (Comelec) acting Assistant Regional Director and concurrent Antique Provincial Election Supervisor Wil Arceno said the covenant signing is for candidates running for representative, governor, vice governor, and provincial board members at the Antique Provincial Police Office (APPO) in San Jose de Buenavista.

"Through the covenant signing, the local aspirants will be making their commitment for a fair and peaceful election," he said in an interview.
